Due to heavy snow across the UK, please check how trains are running before you set off, allow more time for your journey and take extra care in case of slippery surfaces.
Network Rail, London Midland and other train operators have put measures in place to help things run as smoothly as possible. However, as the day has progressed we have seen disruption gradually increase.
As such, we are trying to run a full timetable, but there are delays of up to 60 minutes on some routes, primarily due to congestion and speed restrictions across the network.
Virgin Trains and London Midland tickets are today valid on either operator's services. There are also no time restrictions on any tickets, including Advance fares.

Please be aware that weather conditions are expected to deteriorate during the afternoon and evening.
London Midland's Head of Franchise Management, Nicola Moss, said, "We're expecting further snowfall over the coming days, but we will be working hard to run as many trains as possible for our passengers. Our advice is to check how your service is running before setting out, to leave additional time for your journey and to take extra care on slippery roads and footpaths."
