Rail operator London Midland is increasing its services and running longer trains for the Pope's visits to London and Birmingham this weekend.
London Midland will run longer trains throughout the day on Saturday (September 18) and three 12-carriage services will run from Euston after the Hyde Park event.
Two extra services an hour will run in each direction between Birmingham New Street and Longbridge on Sunday (September 19).
The services are being provided to allow well-wishers to travel to Five Ways station to see the Pope's journey along Hagley Road.
London Midland commercial director Alex Hynes said: “The Papal visit has received a huge amount of attention and we're expecting to be busy. We're strengthening our services and staff will be on hand to assist passengers.”
