If you are a charity and you want to use one of our stations for leafleting, researching or charity collections, please email us with details of your request. We will usually also ask you to send us a copy of your organisation's public liability insurance certificate.
If we agree to the request, we will send you a letter giving you permission and telling you everything you need to know. It is important that you bring this along with you for identification purposes.
Please note that we are usually not able to agree to collections or other activity on board our services and permission to use our station does not include permission to travel.
During the collection itself, our staff will do everything they can to help, bearing in mind that the safety and comfort of our passengers is always our primary concern.
We may wish to work with you and your organisation to arrange publicity around the activity at our station and we will let you know all the ways that we can work with you to make the event a successful and enjoyable one.
The more notice you can give us, the better and we usually ask for 5 working days notice.
