Coventry

Take the train to Coventry and arrive just a short walk from the main shopping centre. Coventry is on  the West Coast mainline and served by regular train services from Birmingham, London and local stations seven days a week. Coventry has the best of both worlds with its prominent history and cinematic countryside; a thriving city bursting with heritage and vitality and surrounded by the historic towns and breathtaking scenery of Warwickshire.

 

Attractions

The annual Coventry Jazz Festival kicks off the summer festival season with a host of quality international and UK Jazz artists. The Godiva Carnival injects a vibrant splash of colour when it parades through the city as it heads to the Godiva Festival at War Memorial Park. Art lovers will be mesmerised by the astounding city art and superb galleries in the area. If you wish to mix art with a leisurely stroll then Coventry Canal Basins art trail is for you. The Herbert Arts Centre and Compton Verney feature fantastic galleries and have a programme of temporary exhibitions making each visit a truly memorable experience.
