London Midland is cutting the cost of parking at Berkhamsted train station by up to 30 per cent.
In conjunction with the opening of the new car park, which has created 85 additional spaces, London Midland is reducing the cost of parking purchased online.
Savings of up to 30% are now available online for parking, with tickets available from as little as £4.00 per day.
London Midland commercial director Alex Hynes said: “We’re delighted to offer these savings in response to the consultation we held with the community in Berkhamsted.
“We’re offering savings on monthly and weekly tickets booked online and making it easier and cheaper to take the train from Berkhamsted.”
The car park at Berkhamsted is part of an £8m investment across the London Midland network to create 1,000 new spaces.
The offer will run throughout the year (ends 31 December 2010). For full details, and to buy tickets visit www.londonmidland.com/parking
