Saturday shoppers will find it easier to get to the summer sales as London Midland puts on extra trains between Worcester and Birmingham.
Every Saturday from 19 July until 23 August, customers can enjoy four additional trains:
- 09.20 Worcester Shrub Hill to Birmingham New Street calling at Droitwich Spa and Bromsgrove
- 14.20 Worcester Shrub Hill to Birmingham New Street calling at Droitwich Spa and Bromsgrove
- 15.38 Birmingham New Street to Bromsgrove
- 16.50 Birmingham New Street to Worcester Shrub Hill calling at Bromsgrove
Additional trains will continue after 23 August, but at different times, to be published soon.
Managing Director Stephen Banaghan said: "These trains are in addition to the frequent service we already run on this line. With the summer sales in full force, we wanted to provide passengers with even more opportunity to get in and out of Birmingham in less than 50 minutes."
