LONDON MIDLAND LISTENS TO PASSENGERS AND DOUBLES SEATS
From Monday 8 September, London Midland will be doubling the number of seats on one of its most popular commuter trains after responding to passenger demand.
Following company research revealing that the 1954hrs London Euston - Milton Keynes service was becoming increasingly popular with commuters and that its four carriages did not always meet demand, London Midland has doubled the number of carriages to eight.
Managing Director Stephen Banaghan said: "We are delighted that we have been able to provide more than 200 extra seats on this busy service. We are always listening to our passengers and always do our best to accommodate changes which improve our services wherever possible.
"Passengers are always welcome to attend our regular ‘Meet the Manager' sessions. Run during peak times at London Euston and Birmingham Snow Hill stations, they provide people with the opportunity to raise questions and discuss isses face-to-face with our senior management team. For more information and a list of upcoming dates please visit our website http://www.londonmidland.com/."
From December, the majority of peak morning arrivals into London Euston will have 12 carriages and extra carriages will also be put into later evening services. In addition, the new Class 350 Desiros are being introduced to replace older Class 321 trains.
