London Midland passengers have donated funds to the RAF Association’s Wings Appeal at collections on the West Coast Mainline.
In the latest collection at Tring, Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted passengers donated £170 to a collector for the Aylesbury-Halton branch of the RAF Association.
The Wings Appeal raises around £2 million each year. The charity relies on the generosity and assistance of members and supporters to generate the vital funds needed to facilitate welfare support for those in need.
Charities that have benefitted from collections at London Midland stations recently include Macmillan Cancer Research and British Red Cross.
