Due to problems with overhead lines in the Watford to Hemel Hempstead area London Midland will be operating a special timetable until further notice.
Network Rail engineers are currently working to solve the problem and an update will be given as soon as more information is known.
In the meantime valid London Midland and Virgin tickets are being accepted on both operators’ trains in a reciprocal agreement.
East Midlands Trains will also honour tickets to Wellingborough with a bus service onwards from Wellingborough to Northampton.
London Midland services will operate north from London Euston at xx13, xx24, xx46 and xx54, with the xx24 service putting in extra stops at Kings Langley and Apsley.
In addition to this during the evening peak London Midland is strengthening its service with trains to Milton Keynes at 1704, 1734 and 1804, and Tring at 1740.
There will also be an 1834 service to Bletchley and an 1849 to Birmingham New Street.
London Midland services heading into London will depart Northampton at xx05, xx25 and xx50, and Milton Keynes at xx47 calling at Kings Langley and Apsley.
The usual timetable services to and from Tring have been cancelled until further notice. London Midland is aiming to strengthen its peak-time services from Euston by running three further 12-carriage trains.
