Suspension of Advance purchase ticket sales 29-30 May 2010

Date: 25 May 2010

The National Reservation System - which all train companies use to make seat reservations and sell Advance fares - is being upgraded between 29-30 May 2010.

From 0001 on Saturday 29 May until 1100 on Sunday 30 May 2010 it will not be possible to make seat reservations, or to view or book Advance tickets from any station, travel agent or website.

During this time, you will still be able to buy Anytime and Off-Peak tickets where a seat reservation is not required, and timetable information will continue to be available. However, if you want to be sure of getting the best deal for your journey you may wish to purchase your ticket before or after the upgrade work is carried out.

Thank you for your understanding while this work takes place.

To get the best value fares, make sure you book online outside of these times, or why not try our £10 Great Escape?
