Pain and Gain on services south of Moor Street in February

Date: 08 Jan 2008

In February, Network Rail will be working on the next phase of its £75 million project to build two new junctions at Tyseley, making services faster and more reliable.

This means that from 7-8 February, 2008 all services from Moor Street Station on the Shirley/Stratford railway line will be replaced by buses, and from 9-17 February 2008 all the services south of Moor Street on the Solihull, Dorridge, Stratford, and Shirley lines will be replaced by buses from Snow Hill, and you should allow for your journey to take longer than normal.

We will be publishing a timetable for the replacement services in January, which will be available from stations on the route, on our website, www.londonmidland.com, and through online services such as trainline.com.

Although the work is deliberately scheduled for half term to minimise the effect, we apologise for the inevitable disruption.
