Due to planned engineering work late night trains from London Euston to Northampton will arrive at Northampton up to 46 minutes later. After 2230 northbound trains will not call at Bushey.

Due to planned engineering work the 2253 Birmingham New Street to Northampton service will not call at Long Buckby and will arrive at Northampton later (at 0027). A rail replacement bus service will operate departing Rugby at 2343, Long Buckby at 0009, arriving Northampton at 0034.

Acocks Green platform renewal work 3 October - 17 October 2010
For 2 weeks from Sunday 3 October to Sunday 17 October, trains from Birmingham towards Dorridge will not be able to call at Acocks Green (on Sundays 3, 10 & 17 October buses will replace trains between Birmingham Snow Hill and Dorridge). During this time Network Rail will be rebuilding the platform to allow larger freight trains to operate on this route in the future. Trains to Birmingham from Acocks Green are unaffected, customers travelling to Acocks Green from Birmingham though will need to remain on the train to Olton, change at Olton and then catch a return train back to Acocks Green. After 1900, this will be supplemented by a bus service that will take customers to Acocks Green. Customers travelling from Acocks Green towards Solihull will need to catch a rail replacement bus service that will operate from Acocks Green to Olton, and change at Olton for onward train services. Please ensure you allow added time for your journey.

Due to planned engineering work the 2253 Birmingham New Street to Northampton service will not call at Long Buckby and will arrive at Northampton later (at 0027). A rail replacement bus service will operate departing from Rugby at 2343, Long Buckby at 0009, arriving Northampton at 0034.

New signalling work affecting services between Birmingham Snow Hill - Shirley - Stratford upon Avon 25 October - 1 November 2010
Network Rail will be commissioning new signalling equipment between Shirley and Straford upon Avon in October, including the renewal of a junction at Bearley. Whilst this will bring benefits with the reliability of new signalling equipment, this will mean that for 1 week a rail replacement bus service will operate.
- From Monday 25 October to Friday 30 October, buses will replace trains between Shirley and Stratford upon Avon.
- From Saturday 31 October to Sunday 1 November, buses will replace trains between Birmingham Snow Hill and Stratford upon Avon.
- From Monday 25 October to Sunday 1 November, buses will replace trains between Stratford upon Avon and Leamington Spa.
