Summary of engineering works planned for March and April 2010
Tipton station closed until May 2010
Trains won't be able to stop at Tipton station until May 2010 whilst Network Rail completes a new £2 million upgrade of the station. The improvements include new, safer platforms, better car park access and a new waiting area.
During the closures, we'll be running buses between Tipton and Coseley, connecting with trains to and from Birmingham and Wolverhampton. Buses will pick up and set down at the Corals bookmakers in Tipton and in Fullwoods End bus stop (near the junction with Havacre Lane) in Coseley.

Due to planned engineering work services between Great Malvern/Worcester/Stourbridge Junction and Dorridge/Stratford upon Avon (via Birmingham Snow Hill) will operate to an amended timetable.

Due to planned engineering work late night trains from London Euston to Northampton will arrive at Northampton up to 50 minutes later. After 2230, northbound trains will not call at Bushey.

The following alterations to services between Birmingham New Street and Coventry/Nuneaton will apply:
- 0517 Northampton-Birmingham New Street will not run
- 0553 Birmingham New Street-London Euston (via Northampton) will not run
- 0653 London Euston-Birmingham New Street will start from Northampton
- 1849 London Euston-Birmingham New Street will start from Northampton

Train services between Lichfield Trent Valley and Redditch (via Birmingham New Street) will operate to a special timetable.

The 0633 Birmingham Snow Hill to Dorridge service is retimed to depart Birmingham Snow Hill at 0639, Birmingham Moor Street at 0642, Small Heath at 0647, Tyseley at 0649, Acocks Green at 0652, Olton at 0655, Solihull at 0658, Widney Manor at 0702, arriving Dorridge at 0707.
