Euston line open again at weekends

Euston line re-opens

From Tuesday 26 August the mainline into London re-opens at weekends and a 7 day service train service resumes on the Abbey Line between Watford Junction and St Albans Abbey.

Route improvements

The work carried out is part of Network Rail’s £81m project that will see the renewal of track and signalling equipment in the Watford area. This includes the replacement of:

Upon completion in 2015, customers will benefit from:

• A more punctual train service
• Modern and reliable infrastructure
• More fences to discourage trespass and reduce cable theft
