2 In Safe Hands: The Story Of The Liverpool Pilots

Marking the 250th anniversary of the Liverpool Pilotage Service, this exhibition documents the heroic and life-saving work of the Liverpool Pilots, who played a vital role in navigating ships in and out of the port. In Safe Hands covers four centuries and offers great insight into a little known aspect of city life.

3 National Trust: The Hardmans' House

The unusual Georgian house is home to the Edward Chambre Hardman Studio, House & Photographic Collection and features a selection of the artist's photographic works. The fascinating interior of the house is quite cosy so tours have to be limited to six people at a time - book well in advance.
