1 Six Day London

Put the pedal to the metal as the world's best track cyclists including Mark Cavendish compete against the backdrop of a party atmosphere, featuring a live DJ and other family-oriented entertainment. Men race in teams of two across the six days and women vie for glory across three days in a series of Madisons, sprints and the famous derny.

2 Paddington's Pop-Up London

To coincide with the cinema release of Paddington 2, five pop-up book installations featuring Michael Bond's beloved bear appear in iconic locations (Bankside, Paddington Station, Peninsula Square, Peter's Hill and Tower Bridge), creating a treasure hunt across the capital. During the six-week run, there will be complementary special events including book readings and face painting.

4 Kathy Lette's Girls Night Out

5 Meet Bruce Dickinson!

The lead singer of heavy metal trailblazers Iron Maiden has many strings to his bow including a motivation speaker, airline pilot, radio presenter, film scriptwriter and international fencer. This evening, he signs copies of his autobiography, What Does This Button Do?. Sadly, there won't be time to have any merchandise signed or pose for a one-on-one photograph.

6 MCM London Comic Con

8 London Literature Festival 2017

The Southbank Centre hosts a specially expanded edition of the annual celebration of the written word. Tom Hanks talks about his first collection of short stories entitled Uncommon Type and Hillary Rodham Clinton makes her only London appearance to discuss her memoir. Plus Philip Pullman and Annie Leibovitz share their thoughts, and there is a live reading of Nelson Mandela's memoirs.
