Formed in Derby in 1997, ska-punk seven-piece Lightyear gained a devoted following, especially with their electrifying and unpredictable live shows that included fire breathing, pantomime horses, Morris dancing and group members in a state of undress. The band is reforming permanently this month to write new material and they perform live in the capital to mark the occasion.
