4 Jubilee Gardens - FREE EVENT

Opened in 1977 to commemorate the Silver Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II, the gardens include a statue of Rupert Brooke, unveiled in 1987 to mark the poet's centenary.

5 Newbold Quarry - FREE EVENT

The former cement quarry is now a thriving nature reserve of grassland and woodland consisting of a large pool with a vibrant population of native white-clawed crayfish. Various paths around this reserve provide excellent bird-spotting opportunities.
