Commercial services

advertising and property across our estate.

We carry 70 million passenger journeys every year, that’s around 180,000 a day; ranging from commuter, business and leisure customers.

We manage 150 stations, from Watford Junction in the south to Acton Bridge in Merseyside, and from Great Malvern in the west towards Bedford in the east.  And, we call at a further 28, use our A-Z UK station listing to see who manages each location.

Our 170-strong fleet of trains operate more than 420,000 services a year across our network

We do our best to help people who want to use our services for something other than catching a train, but ultimately we have to put our passengers first. We have a duty to protect the safety and security of everyone on our stations and sometimes this can restrict what is possible.

Property to-let

Many of our 150 stations have properties that are leased for retail, office or other commercial activity. Property is managed on our behalf by Lambert Smith Hampton. Please contact our agents David Hill or Geoff SmithView the current properties available to here.

Filming & photography

Unfortunately, we are not agreeing to any filming or commercial photography at our stations while we focus exclusively on our passengers.

Collecting, leafleting and researching

If you would like to use any of our stations for leafleting, researching or charity collections please read our Collection guidelines and email our Communications team at comms@londonmidland.com with details of your request.  We will also ask you to send us a copy of your organisation's public liability insurance certificate.

If we agree to the request, we will send you a letter giving you permission and telling you everything you need to know. It is important that you bring this along with you for identification purposes.

Please note that we are usually not able to agree to collections or other activity on board our services and permission to use our station does not include permission to travel.

During the collection itself, our staff will do everything they can to help, bearing in mind that the safety and comfort of our passengers is always our primary concern.

We may wish to work with you and your organisation to arrange publicity around the activity at our station and we will let you know all the ways that we can work with you to make the event a successful and enjoyable one.

The more notice you can give us the better – we usually ask for two weeks’ notice.

Unfortunately, we cannot support collecting, leafleting and researching in the following areas:

  • promotion of religious beliefs
  • promotion of political beliefs
  • projects with existing public funding
  • animal welfare
