Car parking

pay by mobile or get a scratchcard for a quick and easy get away

During our franchise we've invested in our train station car parks, created more spaces and made it easier to pay for parking as well as achieving secure Park Mark Safer Parking accreditation at a number of our stations

View car park charges from 15 May 2017 here

Off-peak rates: get up to a 1/3 off normal rate parking prices when you park-up after 10am during the week and all day Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays.

Weekend rates: our weekend tariff is valid from midday on a Friday until midnight on Sunday, ideal for a weekend getaway.

Scratchcards: available for 10, 20 and 30 days, perfect for those who use the car park a lot but not enough to justify a season ticket, they are cheaper than daily tickets and you can buy them here

Eco-friendly vehicles: cheaper parking for greener cars.

Free parking: most car parks in the Network West Midlands area are free. However, please be aware that Transport for West Midlands will issue Parking Charge notices for cars parked outside of designated parking areas. Parking for blue badge holders is also free. More details can be found here.

Ways to pay for parking

Please visit for more information on payment of parking.
  • Mobile phone payment: an easier way to pay for your car parking at the following stations: Tamworth, Nuneaton, Telford, Northampton, Wolverton, Milton Keynes, Bletchley, Leighton Buzzard, Tring, Berkhamsted, Hemel Hempstead and Watford Junction.
  • 5% online discount: when you book your daily tickets online at most locations (this doesn't apply for off-peak tickets)
  • Share your journey, halve the cost: check out for details on how you could save on fuel and parking costs by travelling to the station with another person.

Refunds for car parking

If you were unable to park in a London Midland 'paid for' station car park and have a valid car parking ticket, you are eligible to a refund for that day's parking.

Requests for a refund must be made within 7 days by either post or email to the address below, stating where and when you were unable to park. Please supply evidence where available of your inability to park at the station e.g. a ticket for the car park in question, ticket for another car park (if parked elsewhere).

Please note: customers with a car park season ticket do not need to send in their ticket as Indigo Parking will already have your details.

Customers will be given a refund equal to the value of the tariff paid e.g. Peak of Off-Peak ticket, Daily or Season ticket. If you have a season ticket, then the refund will be as follows:

Weekly: 1/5th of the total price paid

Monthly: 1/20th of the total price paid

Quarterly: 1/60th of the total price paid

Annual: 1/240th of the total price paid

Car park refunds will be paid via:

  • e-ticket: refund value added to the card you paid with
  • physical ticket (including season tickets): refund value sent as a cheque or a 1-day scratchcard.
