Major engineering works to be aware of

Most track and signalling maintenance work is carried out overnight so as to not affect your journey. More extensive work takes longer, in which case we may alter train times or provide alternative transport options. Timetables are sometimes amended for major sporting fixtures, music festivals and concerts too. Use the calendar, to check where your journey is likely to be affected. Remember to use our online journey planner to plan your trip: amended times are shown automatically, including replacement road transport.
