Get stuck into blockbuster movies, unmissable TV shows, riveting e-books, fun filled kids entertainment, your favourite magazines, awesome games... and surf online as much as you like.

Our amazing free entertainment is rolling out across the network at speed, here's a map showing which lines Motion will be rolled out on. Motion has already been installed on over half of London Midland’s long-distance fleet and Birmingham’s Cross City line between Lichfield and Redditch. By October, passengers on over 70% of journeys will be able to enjoy the new service.

Facts about your On-Board Entertainment - Motion:

  • Your On-Board Entertainment is totally free
  • Whether you're watching, listening or reading, the entertainment won't use up your Wi-Fi data allowance
  • You can enjoy on-board entertainment on all smartphones, tablets and laptops
  • Choose from a selection of Films, TV shows, Kids TV, magazines, audio-books, games, eBooks, and news

How do I advertise on the system?

I've asked for an email but haven't received it what do I do?

There may be a problem with our email response software. Please let us know on info@whooshmedia.co.uk and we'll fix it for you

How often is the content updated?

We update some or all of the channels at least once a month. If the content hasn't been updated we will get some good stuff to replace it soon

It says I've used all my data and I've only just logged in?

It may be that your apps are updating via the Wifi as soon as you login - we recommend checking your settings to ensure that this is not the case. If not, then please contact as let us know at info@whooshmedia.co.uk. Please let us know what route you are on, and the time that the problem occurred so we can try to isolate the issue

How can visually impaired customers use Motion?

For our visually impaired customers, navigating the platform is supported by Apple Voiceover & Google Talkback.

I've lost the Motion homepage, how do I get back to it?
